A box-office phenomenal called                                 ' Coolie '

The accident of Amitabh Bachchan shocked the entire nation and just to see Amitabh Bachchan people went to watch Coolie. Nobody was surprised when It took earth-shattering opening and biggest opening of all-time as almost all Amitabh Bachchans and Dharmendras starrers always opens to bumper response inspite of the content is good or bad. The first month collection of Coolie was nearly 100% all-over India (in figures about 2 crores). The collections of Coolie were such phenomenal that in just 14 weeks, it crossed the lifetime collection of 1983's superhits like Hero, Himmatwala, Betaab, Souten, Mawaali, Ardh Satya, Justice Chaudhary, Masoom and Avtar. By far, Coolie is the biggest box-office grosser of recent times and also the biggest box-office grosser of entire 1983 and 1984. Coolie is the craze of nation. The collections of Coolie are phenomenal and it has already grossed more than 1982's biggest box-office grosser 'Vidhaata' in every circuits except in Bombay where Vidhaata had done record breaking business. Vidhaata did business of about 1.25 crore per territory  and 2.5 crores in Bombay, Namak Halaal grossed 1.10 crores in all major circuits whereas Coolie till now has grossed 1.50 crores in all major circuits and it is still going super strong all-over the country. It is likely to be even bigger grosser than box-office bonanzas like Kranti, Ek Dujje Ke Liye and Muqaddar Ka Sikandar . Manmohan Desai even has claimed that Coolie is the biggest hit of Indian cinema after Sholay. Those who said Amitabh Bachchan's superstar days are over after underperformers like Pukar, Nastik, Mahaan, Khuddar and Desh Premee are having sleepless night. The superstar has once again bounce backed with Coolie, the biggest box-office grossers of 1983 and 1984 ! .  Its Superstar Amitabh Bachchan who is having the last laugh! . Coolie is currently in its 23rd week and is unstoppable everywhere.

Sajid Nadiawala's Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega which had got bumper opening and one of the biggest opening of all-time. Released with record breaking prints, the first two days collections were 100% but after two days the collections started dropping however the collections are still excellent in Bombay and A class centres.   The  star of the indeed of the whole year , is  undoubtedly Superstar Salman Khan . Just look at his career statistics from 1999.  Five releases, a hit and two super duper hits.
