HSSH takes a historical start all-over 

 Sooraj Barjatya's Hum Saath-Saath Hain based on Ramyana has recorded a historical first day all-over the world. Hum Saath Saath has been released on record numbers of prints 405 of which 121 were released in Overseas.According to trade pandits Komal Nahta , editor of Film Information says, the first day collections of HSSH is record breaking and its first day response has surpassed the first day collections of Veeru Devgan's Hindustan Ki Kasam and David Dhawan's Biwi No. 1 by a margin everywhere except Delhi-U.P (particularly Uttar Pradesh) where it didn't got bumper opening but got an excellent initial. The film stars Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Tabu, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre and Mohnish Behl in lead roles. It is breaking records in India and Overseas . Its business in abroad is likely to be in range of last year's big blockbuster Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Its definitely the biggest hit of the year. 

Taran Adarsh, editor of Trade Guide, says, " Its a super duper hit and will definitely turned out to be biggest blockbuster of the year". I really don't understand why the film did not take a record breaking initial in Delhi-U.P. (mainly U.P.) though the film overall has recorded highest first day collections especially in Bombay its got a never heard before opening. The reason for HSSH not getting bumper opening in Delhi-U.P. maybe the reason could be that the music is not that popular. But even in the case of HAHK, the music become a hit after the film was released. The same will be true for HSSH. 

The Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan have proved to be lucky for the third time in a row and the trades are calling them Manmohan Desai—Amitabh Bachchan of this era. 

Will HSSH also prove a record breaking blockbuster like HAHK and MPK? Well that the new year of the century will tell...

  The  star of the indeed of the whole year , is  undoubtedly Superstar Salman Khan . Just look at his career statistics from 1999.  Five releases, a hit and two super duper hits.
